Missing LOR..help - aht09

Haven't submitted my application yet..everything is ready except for a third LOR which was uploaded yesterday and is processing. it should take around 5 days-week to process. should i submit now and later assign the letter or wait untill complete aplication???

It depends on the residency program.

Its ok to just apply now and the add the LoR later in some programs where the PD reviews the applications. PD and PC will see updates on your applications.

However its another story In some progs where the PC prints your application to be reviewed by PD and other faculty members. PC would print your application and give it to them for review. The LoRs that you submitted when they print out your application will be the ones included in your application packet. PC is very busy. They get thousands of applicants. Some wont have time to print your new LoR and look for the faculty member and give your additional LoR to them.

Better to apply after 5 days with 3rd LOR as a complete application.
