I just my Step 3 exam and am going to receive my score on November 1. Do you think I should inform the IM and FM programs I applied to not review my file until they receive my score and if so, how would I go about doing this?

Dont think thats a good idea. Wait till you get score and then send them scores and make calls. Good luck!

230,230, CS, no step 3, Home country residency in Pathology, 2 years of anatomic pathology practice, 4 months US observerships, 5 US LORs, 7 US posters, 5 PubMed publications, Research fellowship at Mayo Clinic from July till date, YOG 2011 (heard a new concept that if you do a residency in home country, YOG is calculated from year of residency, so apparently 2015 is YOG), J1 research visa.
