OB-GYNI is impossi for males? - parame

Guys,
is it true, that for IMG-males, obsgyni residency is way too difficult?
sumbdy told this..

bt, i felt, US is not sumthin conservative, like middle east countries..
or rather they say at times, girls are more comfy discussing their gyni probs to male docs...

dunno..

am male n hve immense interest in obsgyni.

i was interested in OBGYN in med school..I am a male! cuz i didn't match right out of med school, i started working and they were in IM field than obgyn field. So it's now very difficult for me to show that I am committed to the specialty

it's not difficult..if you have the right scores and can show commitment to the specialty (obeservership, experiences, research, whtever), you can get in..it's difficult yes cuz you are competing with a lot of females mostly who are AMGs, but it can be done!
