driving in the US is pretty easy.get ur license before resiency.practise for 1-2 weeks..parallel parking,three point turn,reversing straight and ur good to go.
get done with the written test first and get ur learner's.

Depends on how busy ur program is. People from Cook County and Downstate have been known to forget the art of bipedal transportation (also called walking in lay terms) by the end of PGY1, leave alone Driving. But as they say, its tuff' but doable.
On a serious note, u can do whatever u want during residency. Driving? Just take the test and get over with it. Comon!

see when u will start residency it is simply impossible.get ur lisence u have 2 month to go.practice daily.

thanx for the replies..the thing is i learnt driving 5 yrs ago and did not really drive...so i am like a beginner and then i am curently not in US and here it is right hand driving so i am confused how long will it take me to learn....
