my H1B petition is approved.but the approval notice is sent to the US embassy in my home country.i want to apply from london embassy as i am here at the moment.had already taken a date for it.somebody told me that i cant apply from london now.is it so?plz tell me.thanks in advance

he said..that i 'should,nt' have any problems.but one of my friend,who himself is on H1 told me that while he was going through all this process,his lawyar was very particular about that...so i am confused....

hmmm, i'm sorry i'm not of more help. the only way to know for sure (i think), is to check with the london embassy, especially considering the approval notice was sent to your home country. if they (the london embassy) says it's ok, they might be able to suggest how to get another copy of the approval notice sent to them.

My lawyer says that you can apply for H1B stamping anywhere. I think London should be fine.
