interview for PGY-1 position starting June 2021 - calidoc21

I use this forum but have never posted anything before.

I found an opening for a PGY-1 position starting this June and was able to email the PD. I have a "phone" interview tomorrow. Does any one have experiences with phone interviews? I know they are trying to fill the position quickly so they may have picked phone instead of video interview? Advice? He assured me via email that there is enough time to do onboarding and start on-time, but I am an IMG so I wonder if that is true.

Thank you all. Was so surprised I was able to find something this late in the year. I have a second interview on Monday and they will tell me Monday evening they said.
