lack of estrogen causes decrease in heat tolerance in the thermoregulatory centres of hypothalamus

it is due to increse in activity in peripheral conversion of androgen to estrogen in fat tissue

but i thought peripheral conversion of androgens to estrogens in adipose tissue(seen in obese people) dereases hot flashes
