The lesion is in the lateral medulla. ICP, nucleus of CN XII and nucleus solitarius (CN VII) are involved. So C. or lateral Wallenberg syndrome in which PICA is implicated.

Dear drrkamra,
Lesion cannot be in the lateral medulla. CN XII is medial, and nucleus solitarius DOES NOT involve 7th nerve. Its related to 9,10 CN.
Actually NONE of the choices make sense, not even the question.
Please post the CORRECT question n then we'll answer
