Its varies from person to person.

If you are a good judge, go for Anesthesiology other wise go for Internal Medicine.

If you can take mental pressure go for Anesthesiology. If you can take physical pressure more than mental pressure go for Internal Medicine.

Other secreat... If you are going to take Internal Medicine, be sure that you are physically strong.

Who makes more... If you take average, Anesthesion makes more. But I know some Internal Medicine doctors, who earns much better than Surgeons.

thanks for the response. one clarification please, what do you mean by mental pressure for the anesthesiologist? do you mean that he/she makes more acute decisions with more rapid outcomes, and therefore must be more astute than the IM guy?
