I think that the ppl participating in this forum are only about 20-30 on more than 800 applicants.... so I don't think there are a lot of silent spectator I just think not everybody is interested in this forum.
There is a certain dose of randomness in selecting IMG. I think they do a better job with AMG but might be a little more random with IMG.
Anyways, most of the ppl in this forum got a decent number of IV. So far so good, we'll see how it ends.

have you already had an interview at UTSW? You have mentioned that you will need an H1. But UTSW seems to be strongly against any H1s. Did you tell them that you are willing to join on a J1?

Hi path2path, you are right about the visa thing of UTSW. But they also mentioned to me that it is not totally impossible for H1B, it is just very difficult. However, I still think this puts me in a big disvantage.
