if you are on hold with a program, dont call them right away...they JUST told you that you are on hold...that would be irritating to them if you called. Wait 2 weeks and then call to ask if there is a chance of an interview seat opening for you. But to be honest, majority of the time on hold applications do not get called...its only in case of anyone cancelling itnerviews...if its a big program this rarely happens, if a smaller community program then maybe 2-3 people from the hold list will be called, but dont keep your hopes in that.
