hey guys i have 214 step 1 first attemp, 215 ck first attemp, cs second attempt..YOG 2013.. i have seen that family medicine is getting really harder even to get a single interview... should I apply for pediatrics instead ? Dont get me wrong, It just that i have seen many people with similar credentials even wayyy better and still no Iv on FM... any advise? thank you in advance and merry Christmas Big Grin

Are you interested in a subject? That is what matters the most. Family Med is going for Carrib grads, mostly.
It's not impossible but if you have a good profile(By that I mean LORs/Experience/Publications), it would be worth giving a shot for your desired program.

Meanwhile, pedia isn't easy. You will need to have some background while applying. The same good profile thing comes into play.

IV doesn't depend on scores and credentials only, connections are turning out to be an imp factor too.

Decide and go ahead..

family got extremely hard man....

they need scores 225 or above..

The reason is because of the few spots they can give and more US DO people are applying to it!!

The DO graduates applied heavily to a program. I just spoke to them. Man this is too hard.

got some people and one publication in peds... but tbh... i want family... but i dont know anybody from family bro... that's my point... i know people in peds.. but i don't know nobody from family or Internal medicine...
