now a days most program ask to send applications through ERAS,
very few programs ask for fax or e-mail but still good idea to keep things ready for fx and email
How about going directly to the program ,will it increase my chances?

Is it correct, NY IM Methodist ...no of scramble for last year was 15, can it be possible? It's too much.
What do you think?

Ny methodist always doesnt match...cause the pd always ranks people who end up ranking other programs higher hense he doesnt get what he wants and positions are always open there....in the scramble he only calls in people he wants and interviews them....

They don't offer prematch as well. I mean for Obgyn. I am not sure about IM.

Guys I am really confused about those scramble service things. I mean some are saying it's just waste of money and many PD consider them spammmers, but what's the harm in letting someone sends fax and emails to all programs in one's behalf !
What's ur input ? Any exp ? Any idea about cost of such services?

here is another questions to u...what is the benefit of letting them do it? the downside is u could piss off a pd or pc with ur e-mail....or fax
