my worry is not money or city transfer
saying no to smaller one
can that affect in a way not getting residency interview from the same place?
vice a versa
in 26 days will I be able to convince them to give me an interview call?

The main reasons for observerships are
1. LOR
2. to improve your CV by having USCE
It is rare for any observer to get a guarantee from PD for an interview call. In fact, a lot of times, you may not even work directly with PD, but just with attendings, but it is very different from hospital to hospital, so it's hard to say. You may be lucky and get to work directly with PD and make an unforgettable impression on him/her, who knows

Interesting. I have not yet get any observation yet. But I know that only IMGs can get pre match so it may be good to show your ability while doing observation?
