I am applying to Psych programs, haven t applied yet as two of my LORs which are from US doctors (one psych) havent been uploaded as yet. I have a list of about 50 programs. Do u guys think I making a mistake by waiting for the letters to be uploaded.. (they r likely to be uploaded in 2-3 days)

Does anyone know if it is difficult to get Psych residency. Im doing Internal Medicine right now and I dont like it. I really want to do Psych but I dont know what kind of criteria they look at. Please help?

hey...i am applying psych...i am a FMG..recent 2007 grad,89,83,cs all first attempt..step 3 given but no USCE...what do u say guys...do i have a chance...i have heard that psych residency directors want some psych experience to prove one's interest....if anybody could guide me to a place to get psych experience or externship,i wud be gratefull...although i am inillinois and am trying to get some here...thanx and gud luck people
