I received an ACK email from MGH stating that I should expect to hear from them in the first 2 weeks of NOVEMBER! is this a rejection or what?

Aduo, I am also puzzled. It seems they don't have a pre-screening for the visa issue. So it could mean that they are more flexible as for visa. The coordinators of this program, and of Yale and Vandy as well, did not say they don't encourage me to apply when I emailed about my visa problem. So I guess there might be some exceptions.
