someone plz asnwr my q:
wht about the job marketing? it is not too good right now. we cant open our own clinic like others(Im, FM, psych...)...so, wht about the future of pathology? how to make a live? am i missing something?
it cud be because u r mostly rich or u dotn need a paid job or have family/husband to pay for ur life , so all u need is the document? sorry, but 2 of my frnds are applyin in pathol for the same reason, only getting a documetn and have rich husbands/family.

I'm quite poor. I'm a postdoc living on a postdoc salary, single no rich family.
I suggest you make your own choices based on what you want to do. I know many pathologists here and in Europe and none of them is taking a second job at McDonalds to pay the bills.
Some pathologist are quite rich. Why you keep saying that pathologist cannot open a business? Of course it's not going to be a clinic but have you heard of a lab?
Believe me there are rich pathologists out there. But I think the real issue is what you like to do. I do not want to be a surgeon or an IM doctor.... I love pathology and that's what I want to do. I'm sure I'll figure out a way to pay rent.
