Acute venous thromboembolism and metastatic ca - harry206 - ArchivalUser - 03-08-2010 58 yr old women, diagnosed with uterine ca 2 yr ago. now c/o: b/l pulmonary emboli and mets to liver. past h/o: 2 yr ago had lower exterimity DVT, underwent surgery follwed by 6 month warfarin. now pt started on 7 day course of LMWH. What should be done to prevent recurrent venous thromboembolism in this pt?
