Scholarship is sponsored by fm residency programs and it will cover hotel, meals, etc but not flight. It worths 500 dollars and there is No cost except for 20 dollars fee for membership. FMEC 2014 will be held at Arlington, Virginia. This is my first year too and I heard it is very beneficial because like many programs will be there. I figured if it doesn't hurt and is free, then why not? It is a great opportunity to meet programs.

Nomad, we can get scholarship even if we are a medical graduate and our school is not on the list? I emailed the lady on the form, after submitting it. Of course its worth it. I live only a few subway stations away, so this is perfect for me. And I dont even need the hotel, Ill just take the subway home afterwards.

There are several Caribbean schools such as AUC, St. Matthews, University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Btw the list that you guys see are students of those schools that will attend the conference. It doesn't mean that only those schools are qualified. Everyone are welcome to apply and attend
