0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 @cadet133 your right, it does not matter if we believe you or not, what matters is what each of us gets. If you get one or 20 IVs is not the problem, the problem is we do not have the IV's and all this score posting does not prove why or why not................................. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 Step 1 225 Step 2 238 Step 2 cs passed. Green card 10 years since graduation > 1 year US clinical experience ( internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics) 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 I agree with student. I just think I was very lucky so far to have IV. Most of people that I know and who gave the same credentials as me and even much better still do not have Invitations 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 Gave--have 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 Maybe as I wrote before it depends where we apply and how many programs??? 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 I don't think its how many programs either, I think its your personal statement, LORs and your dedication to Family medicine, its not a check off list its really looked at. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-08-2015 @ cadet133 and your followers, good luck all and everyone in the forum, thank you for your nice replies . Again you don't have to prove for me or any body about your status its yours and still for my it doesn't make any sense from what i see around. Thanks again and good luck all. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-09-2015 @student. I like the way you think and you are exactly right. Scores only get you past the filter. And for family, that filter isn't as strict as IM. My scores aren't the best , but I only applied to family and I believe my lors, personal statement helped me get my one IV. 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-09-2015 I agree with student and cluey, I definitely didn't get My interview by my scores bc they are low. I think my overall application is strong in terms of lor's, clinical experience and personal statement. It is all a matter of luck as well! 0 - ArchivalUser - 10-09-2015 I posted scary stats like 22% for FMG in FM matching......... I know people do not want to believe this but lets hope its not true this year.....................NRMP stats are what they are |
