If i take my cs in nov...is it too late? -

HI vk,
Do you think the new cs will be tough in the sense of passing rate of imgs as us med grads r also taking it?
r u taking course for cs or steps?
what r u preparing for cs?

i am doing center prep for step 2 ck. i am not going to take the course for Ck...not sure if it is helpful. I really don't know if the pass rates are different, i guess it's too soon to say. but again, that would be beyong our control so we should just study and do our best!

you don't need step 2 cs to apply

if fact you you don't need to have step 2 ck to apply

program deadlines are for sending applications - you can apply with step 1 results only

sure, the more results you have on your application - the easier to get an interview; step 2 ck result is good thing to have, but few programs care about cs at the time of application

you have to pass all exams and have ALL results ( but don't have to get certificate yet) by the ranklist deadline - sometime at the end of February

you have to have certificate ready before you start residency

of course if you need visa - the earlier you have everyrhing - the better, if you need h1 - you need to have certificate to apply for step 3 and have step 3 results to apply for H1, etc, etc
