I would prefer to have at least one LOR from your medical school.It's good because it shows that you respect your medical school and you are proud to be a student of it (I am

Also it gives a good impression to the interviewers too as they would like to know how good a student you were in your med school.Also your prof from med school knows you for at least a few years unlike other US lor's which are a few months acquaintance.
I am not saying that US LOR's are not important,but make sure you send at least one LOR from your med school prof dated recently and mentioning your academic activities while in college and also upto date,which will show that you had a good medical education and you are really proud of it.This is just my opinion!
