Sorry ---in my excitement I overlooked the one mistake made by cheerkut--2 D antral resection......earlthe answer is actually vagotomy of the distal stomach because it is the vagus that controls the antral emptying into the duodenum--resecting the antrum would simply cause hurried delivery to the duodenum as the sphincter is also lost.
