That's what I would think, but then a good buddy of mine in residency program...told me that once he got matched, the program asked him to divulge a lot of information. He said they will ask for proof of immigration status. They even asked for finger prints so that they could run a back ground check on him....since he was working in a federal hospital......

One more thing, I had a friend who interviewed in Tx last year. She said that the day of the interview, they asked her for proof of GC

Citizenship.. Foreign National
Current Visa... EAD
Expected Visa... Immigrant

I am in the same situation as yours , but I am confused what to enter as the visa status.
should i go ahead and eneter as permanenet resident ...
or enter as foregin national on EAD .... but there is no place to put GC is pending .

please help me .

also when i called up few progs .......
they dont know what EAD is .......
the PD said if they want GC or citizens they will only call candiddates who already have the card and not the ones who are going to get the card ......
so please clarify ...
