Hrrmph, I don't know if you were refering to me, but I never said that someone is stupid (never used that word) for applying to many programs. The whole idea of my post was to establish that a lot of frustration due to the number or rejections can be saved if one applies wisely instead of blindly. Which is not the same as saying that someone needs to apply selectively to only a few programs. Hope this clarifies my position which, again, is based in my experience through this process. No necker I wasnt referring to ur post but the interpretation which wasnt the way you intended it to be. We have to take chances, and sometimes it pays off. My creds are average and I did apply to some gr8 places. Although I didnt expect any I have a few surprises.

While I wasnt expectin to get a call from Brighams...nor rejection to be honest..and I didnt recieve any.

I did get SUNY Syracuse which is surprise enough!
