A 28 years old intravenous drug user patient came to your office complaining of fever and fatigue. When reviewing his chart you find out that his Anti-HBcAg IgM was positive, and now after 10month is negative, his Anti-HBcAg IgG and Anti-HBsAg IgG were positive and now after 10moth are still positive. The patient most likely:

Anti-HBcAg IgMIt is produce after 2 month of the infection, after months the IgM is replaced for IgG (Anti-HBcAg IgG). The Anti-HBsAg IgG it show when HBsAg has disappear, meaning the acute phase is done.
