Mild s/s (can still take care of themselves):
60yo c Amantidine. If Severe s/s: 1st Levo/Carbidopa, 2nd is DA agonist (primapexole, ropinirole, pergolide), 3rd COMT-inhibitors (Talcopone), 4th MAOI (selegiline). Some antipsychotics (haloperidol, risperidone, MPTP) can cause parkinson-like symptoms, tx c anticholinergics (benztropine/ trihexylphenidyl/ cabergeline). Young guy c Parkinsonism, but not on meds, think of Wilsons disease.
