verapamil is Ca channel blocker use to treat BOTH HTN and vasospatic angina.,but it has strong NEG IONOTROPIC effect.As this pat is showing sign n symptoms of CHF ,cos of its neg inotropic effect.CONTRAINDICATED with herat failure patient
A=amolidipine is also Ca channel blocker but NO cardiac neg inotropic effect.use for both HTN and vasospastic angina.safe in CHF pat.
B.captopril tx for both HTN n angina ,with no pot s.e of CHF.
C=furosemide use in congestion and edema associated with CHF.also for HTN.
D.hydralazine=vasodilator for Tx of CHF .Contraindicated with ANGINA pat.
