hi dewal, i am planning some time in nov-dec.how about you.how is your prep,did you take a date at prometric?do you have to pay a fee at prometric also if so how much?this whole process is so overwhelming.

one more thing what's national identification card?

hi vizio... if u r planning to take from nov.. then i think u have to hurry up.. because i think last date for them to receive ur documents will be sep 31st. isnt it??

there is no extra fees for writing USMLE exam in prometric center. u just have to go to site.. and take an available date after u get ur permit. there is no fee even for resheduling or cancelling if u r doing it 5 days before ur exam date.

but if u want to get feel of exam in ur prometric center.. and want to write a practice exam before original exam.. then u have to pay i think $40. other wise nothing more than u paid for actual exam.

these people really have lot of rules and regulations.. but i sincerely advice u to read ECFMG info. booklet... once thoroughly, if necessary,, taking note of relevant points to u..
