@marry25...No,it is not inappropriate,it is perfectly acceptable...If you interviewed with PD,you could contact PD...you mentioned an associate PD who gave you an encouraging response,you could contact him/her....PC would not be able to help you,except for getting hold of the PD if you are not able to get in touch with him......do mention your deadline to them...you are lucky to have 2 weeks....all the best..

Let me give you a trick.If you have to interview in 3 programs only , you have to go to
NRMP to see how many spots those programs have for the match, but the worst is to verify
if those 3 programs have ever been in the Match.
IF THE ONE YOU HAVE THE OFFER DOES MOSTLY PREMATCH, you're rather take the prematch
because you might end up with only 2 programs or one program to rank.

If you have superb scores and you are sure you can be matched among those Avatars, so
go for the match.If you have one-second -doubt , get the prematch.Don't be too confident.
