I did not receive any follow-up form or anthing after I signed the contract, which means that all information I submitted to program so far was completely ture and honest.

I understand that you are very worried about your residnecy contract, especially within the settings of the termination of your current employment. At this point in time, I think you should remain calm and try to overcome the situation. Just do not dig more into it, I think. Less noise is better. I believe that if there are any doubts, your new boss will contact you, and there is nothing bad to be honest and explain him (if he asks you) that indeed you had to take time off during the interview season which ended up misfortunately for your current job, but fortunately for your residency future.

Otherwise, after you sign a contract, do you expect to hear back from the program till the orientation? Did they tell/instruct you anything?
