its the cause of numbness thats bothering me but I guess v- facial numbness vii-facial paralysis
yes facial crosses and the nucleus is in lower pons anyway
lower face with contralateral innervation like th corticospinal tracts and upper face with bilateral innervation like all other cranial nerves

Intercostal nerve, artery , vein bundle runs in lower sulcus of the ribs.. and in question they asked border of intercostal space and not the rib... it will be upper border of rib but lower border of the intercostal space which indirectly corresponds to the upper border of the rib below in that respective space.
