unlikely. UCSD had some FMGs in their PSTP program so I applied, but I haven't heard from them. I have only gotten IV so far.

@ new2day - i guess i must have missed that one.
most of the univ cat programs are pretty tight i was told - even for AMGs. not too many AMGs want to commit to research (bc of $$) good luck for sure.

PhD 2009 YOG 2004 61 programs, mostly research Pathway 3 solid publications in high impact factor journal(max 10 lowest 5) 4 US lORs Various Awards only 2 ivs so far and that too from community colleges Lot of rejections from the places I applied for ABIM, now only few of them are remaining I believe no one likes research.

well at least u have 2 IVs I feel completely betrayed, caz I was told from very senior people that I have an excellent chance at their program and how they are in desperate need of physician scientists. The fact is: the do not care about research at all. In fact I have been observing people with much lower credentials but with as little as 2 months of USCE get IVs from programs that I was rejected from. It has been one of the most dissapointing experiences in my life. PhD and 4 years of reserach-------------------down the drain

I am in the same boat ferritin, I also feel completely rejected. I was in contact with almost 4 programs and they all were the first one to reject my application.
I believe, being an IMG is a big issue for these program. |
