It isn't impossible to get a residency position in CA, call the programs to find out their requirement, get some USCE which I believe is the most important ! then try to get to know someone in the programs...but if you need H1 or J1, then it might be more difficult.

what if you are married to a us citizen, does it make things easier?

hi bibi,if u r married to a U.S citizen,i assume you must have your greencard now..??which does make it easier for programs anywhere.
